About
How this site works
dailybrief is an automatic daily briefing on generative AI: new models, token and pricing changes, and developer releases.
What you get
Every day, one page with a short summary, the top stories, every other story by topic, a short quiz and an audio version. Every earlier day stays online, and you can browse by date.
Where stories come from
We read the public feeds of AI labs, developer blogs, SDK release pages and established publishers: AWS Machine Learning, Anthropic Python SDK releases, Ars Technica, GitHub Changelog, Google AI Blog, Google DeepMind, Google Developers Blog, Google Gen AI SDK releases, Hugging Face, Hugging Face Transformers releases, IEEE Spectrum, Interconnects, Latent Space, MIT Technology Review, NVIDIA Blog, Ollama releases, OpenAI, OpenAI Python SDK releases, Simon Willison's Weblog, TechCrunch, The Verge, VentureBeat, Vercel, WIRED, llama.cpp releases, vLLM releases. We do not scrape paywalled content or republish articles. Each story shows a short summary and links to the original source.
How stories are chosen
Stories from the last 30 hours are collected. Duplicates are merged, so a story reported by several outlets appears once with all sources listed. Stories are ranked by source reliability, how many outlets reported them, recency, and relevance to model releases, pricing and tokens, and developer tooling. Promotional posts are dropped.
How summaries and quizzes are written
Summaries, the quiz and the audio script are prepared automatically from the text each publisher provides, using AI assistance to keep them short and neutral and to use only facts present in the source. The audio is an AI-generated voice. Mistakes are possible, so check the original source before relying on a detail such as a price or version number.
Corrections
The linked original is always the authoritative source. Updates are published with the next daily edition.
